ABOUT

STARLIGHT is a Joongdok Idol Project that imagines Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja in an idol world, working together to reach stardom.Using the style of classic mobile rhythm games such as Love Live!, Ensemble Stars, and Project SEKAI Colorful Stage, we hope to bring you an enriching gacha experience through physical cards featuring our two rising stars!

FAQ

Q: What is 'gacha'?
A: The term 'gacha' originates from Gashapon/Gachapon Japanese toy capsule vending machines. These machines work by inputting coins to receive a capsule with a random toy inside. The aim of this project is to emulate 'gacha' and allow you to purchase randomized cards in a similar fashion.Q: How many cards will there be?
A: There will be 40 different cards — 8x SSR, 10x SR, 22x RQ: What are the gacha rates?
A: SSR: 15%, SR: 25%, R: 60%.Q: Will there be any fics/writing?
A: Yes! We are still finalizing the details, but currently there are five fics planned which will be available digitally (likely through QR code).Q: How big will the cards be?
A: The cards will be double-sided and 90 x 54mm in size (business card size).Q: Will you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we will be shipping internationally from Singapore!Q: How will the gacha system work?
A: For each card pre-ordered we will use a digital RNG to define which cards have been pulled. This will also define how many cards will need to be printed and will prevent physical card limitations from affecting gacha chances.Q: Is this project for charity or profit (non-business)?
A: This will be a non-business for profit project. This means any profit made will initially go toward ensuring all contributors get a free set of all cards. Any profits made past that will be equally split between contributors.Q: Will there be merch add-ons?
A: We are still working on finalising the exact details, but we do plan on having additional merch available for purchase (non-gacha)!Q: How will I know if I've collected all the cards?
A: Details are still being finalized, but we are planning on having an informational site available to view our collection of cards.Q: Will you be opening contributor applications to the public?
A: All contributors will be invited, apologies for any disappointment caused!Q: Will I be able to buy specific cards instead of randomized ones?
A: We will be having some type of 'pity' system in place which will allow you to choose a guaranteed card for every certain number of randomised cards purchased. Details are still being finalised but it will become available after POs close so you can choose the cards you weren't able to pull.Q: My question hasn't been answered!
